Learn by Doing

Reading about technology is useful.

Watching videos is useful.

You do not need permission from your employer to test something new.

You do not need access to an expensive enterprise environment.

You can create your own.

Want to learn virtualization? Build it.

Want to learn networking? Design it.

Interested in Windows Server, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, automation, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or something completely different?

Create a project around it.

Your homelab does not need a dedicated server rack.

It does not need enterprise hardware.

It does not need to consume enough electricity to power a small village.
